Pastor Emory was born April 13, 1966 in Spartanburg, SC.  At the age of 9 Pastor Emory was Saved at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Spartanburg. As a young teenager Pastor Emory grew very little as a Believer, but at age 16 he began attending Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC.  There, under the leadership of Dr. Jimmy Robbins, the spark of Old-Time Religion was ignited. It was here that Dr. Emory met Tammy Riddle who would later become his wife.  Dr. and Mrs. Emory have two children. Being led by the Holy Spirit Dr. Emory surrendered to the call to Preach the Gospel. So, at the age of 19, Pastor Emory began his life in the Ministry. After Dr. Emory surrendered to Preach the Gospel of Christ he attended and graduated from Tabernacle Baptist College. Dr. Emory along with the family moved to Richmond, VA to pastor his first church; in 1997 after much prayer Pastor Emory moved to Casar, NC where he began to Pastor Morris Memorial Baptist Church. Dr. Emory earned his Doctorate from Victory Baptist Bible Institute in 2015. Dr. Emory and the entire conregation of MMBC invite you to visit our church very soon.
